June’s RITUAL takes place during the Waning Moon in Capricorn on Wed. June 3rd.
Together, we gather in sacred space to cast the circle and turn the mill of magick.
Our Ritual will unfold as a singular ritual working with two currents, first the letting go aspect of the Burden Bundle and then the bringing in of energy with the Red Thread.
The Ritual of the Burden Bundle…
This part of our RITUAL will be shedding, severing and releasing that which is heavy, stagnant, and oppressive; to place it in the Burden Bundle which we will then be buried in the earth as a potent form of transmutation.
Whether it is personal old habits and programming, ancestral wounds and baggage, or the broken patriarchal structures that are cobbling and suffocating us…you will be invited to sever, release and shed what makes sense for you.
Once we have completed the releasing, we will bury (in an environmentally responsible manner) the Burden Bundle and light candles on top of the soil to aid transformation and illuminate new paths forward.
Ritual of the Red Thread…
In Magickal Traditions, the strength of community connection working together to fuel our individual and mutual transformation is a potent current to ignite, nurture and grow. Beyond turning a mill of magick, we weave a collective tapestry. Each of us contributes to the diversity, vibrancy and vitality of that tapestry. And the threads of our magick carry us even after we leave the monthly circle.
The last part of our ritual will involve a collective healing practice so that we can carry forth a piece of that thread from our collective tapestry…a thread that reminds us our shared strength, resiliency and connection. In the Ritual of the Red Thread, each participant will receive a blessed, symbolic piece of the thread spun from the magickal tapestry that has grown and strengthen from the collective magick of Community Based Ritual.
Once our magickal work is completed, we will ground and center.
The Monthly Rituals are facilitated by Winifred and Anthony. Participants are invited to actively participate in co-creating deep and sacred work inside a safe, ritual space held within a magickal circle of protection.
Once the Ritual ends, attendees are welcome to stay for sharing in a light snack and socializing.
Winifred and Anthony both have many, many years of experience and training in mindfully guiding deep magick within community ceremonies. Our Rituals are intentionally kept small in the number of attendees, so we can facilitate a more focused and deeply supportive magickal experience.

COST $15 This helps cover the cost of the resources it takes to prepare, create and hold sacred space. You can sign up ahead or pay at the door that evening. Please arrive by 7:15 pm.
Each month features a uniquely crafted ritual, centered on a different magickal intention and focus. While not anchored in any one specific Craft Tradition, there still will be a grounding, protective, structure of a Witch’s Circle to safeguard our mutual energies. All expressions of being human and all levels of experience are welcome.

Winifred Costello: Initiated High Priestess, Founder & Owner of AwenTree
Winifred has over 30 years experience, training and practice in Paganism, Witchcraft and Folk Magick Traditions. She weaves together her knowledge in the Craft with the spiritual tools of Energy Healing, Reiki and Tarot to help students create empowered transformation in their lives. She is an Intuitive Tarot Reader, Reiki Master Teacher, Certified Hypnotherapist and Past Life Regression Certified Facilitator. She is the Proprietress of AwenTree and the Founder & Mentor of the Witching Well Community. Winifred is an Initiated High Priestess in the Temple of Witchcraft Tradition having completed the 7+years it takes to journey the Mystery School and Year of Ministry Training.
Anthony Gladu
Artist, Gardener, Herbalist, Magickal Practitioner and Tarot Reader. Anthony has been on his spiritual journey and practicing Witchcraft for many years. He is currently enrolled in Year 3 in the Temple of Witchcraft Mystery School. Anthony is excited to be able to facilitate safe, sacred space for folk to gather together for ritual and a bit of magick.
