Celebrating Winter Solstice Together
Together we will kindle the warmth and connection of community as we welcome back the Return of the Light at Solstice.
Join us for a festive and cozy evening celebrating the Winter Solstice with food, meaningful conversation, sharing magickal stories and song. We will gather in an old world traditional way that emphasizes community. Our evening will be one of merriment, partly bardic song and story share, but mostly enjoying good food, good company and good cheer.
Instead of a ritual, we will light candles and share Yuletide songs, poems and winter stories so feel free to bring something to share. If you a bit on the shy side, don’t panic, no one is required to perform! Winifred and Anthony will have some old European Yuletide traditions tucked into the evening.
Participants are asked to bring:
- A light snack to share (if this is a challenge, just let Winifred know)
- A Yuletide song OR magickal winter poem OR short story
- Your merriment to share with each other
Celebrating Winter Solstice Gathering is on Wed. Dec. 18th, 7 -9 pm
Cost $5 > You can sign up ahead of time by CLICKING HERE or you can pay at the door that evening.
This small fee helps cover the cost of the resources it takes to prepare, create and hold sacred space at AwenTree.
About Winifred Costello:
Winifred has over 30 years experience, training and practice in Paganism, Witchcraft and Folk Magick Traditions. She weaves together her knowledge in the Craft with the spiritual tools of Energy Healing, Reiki and Tarot to help students create empowered transformation in their lives. She is an Intuitive Tarot Reader, Reiki Master Teacher, Certified Hypnotherapist and Past Life Regression Certified Facilitator. She is the Proprietress of AwenTree and the Founder & Mentor of the Witching Well Community. Winifred is a forever student and currently enrolled in Year 5 (Ministry Training) in the Temple of Witchcraft Mystery School.
About Anthony Gladu:
Artist, Gardener, Herbalist, Magickal Practitioner and Tarot Reader. Anthony has been on his spiritual journey and practicing Witchcraft for many years. He has completed the coursework of Year 3 in the Temple of Witchcraft Mystery School. Anthony is excited to be able to facilitate safe, sacred space for folk to gather together for ritual and a bit of magick.
