Introduction to Tarot with Winifred Costello

Perhaps you own a tarot deck that initially excited you, but now is gathering dust because you feel overwhelmed or uncertain about how to actually grasp the greater wisdom held within them?
Whether you own a tarot deck or not, join Winifred for a fun and interactive evening where you will be introduced to the “big picture” view of tarot as a system and get started demystifying tarot as a whole.
Participants will learn about:
- The big picture view of the overall structure and system of tarot
- The energetic roles of the Major and Minor Arcana cards
- An introduction to the elemental properties as represented in the Four Suits of Tarot
- Explore ways to lay out your entire tarot deck to help you understand tarot as a system
Join Winifred for an informative and inspirational evening getting to know Tarot.
This class is geared towards folks who seek to understand a ‘big picture view” of the general landscape of tarot. The goal is to empower you to think about tarot from a wider intellectual and spiritual perspective. The scope of this particular workshop will not be on specific meanings for each card. If that is something you seek, consider signing up for one of Winifred’s other upcoming workshops where that is the focus.
All levels of tarot curiosity and experience are welcome.
You are strongly encouraged to bring your tarot deck to class. However, Winifred does have a limited number of extra decks she to share for use during class.
This is an In-Person Workshop happening Thursday, Feb. 22nd, 7-9 pm at AwenTree in the Maplewood Shops in Northampton, MA
