April’s Ritual will be on Wed. April 16th 

Healing Poppet Magick Ritual

We will gather in our magick circle to create, dress, and charge healing poppets.

While the focus of our magick will be on healing, each participant will be invited to create their poppet in alignment with the healing intention most appropriate for them because you will be taking it home with you. 

Ahead of our ritual, Winifred and Anthony will mindfully prepare the outer fabric covering that will form the bodies of the poppets. Together, we will turn our mill of magick, raise a cone of energy and claim our power which we will then direct into the anointing, blessing, loading and charging our healing poppets.

Winifred and Anthony will mindfully curate and prepare the special herbs and ingredients for our poppets for our evening. 

*Particpants are welcome to bring a very small personal item to add to their individual poppet to help anchor and connect the healing intention. Items might include something from nature such as a stone, acorn, or a tiny personal item such as an old piece of jewelry or tiny piece of clothing. You are not required to bring anything but sometimes it can be an additional benefit to add your own item to your poppet. 

Once we have completed our healing poppets we will raise our energies again in a co-creative spark to charge and activate our poppets before we ground the working in our bones and the earth.

Once the Ritual ends, attendees are welcome to stay for socializing and sharing in a light snack.

Winifred and Anthony both have many, many years of experience and training in mindfully guiding deep magick within community ceremonies.  Our Rituals are intentionally kept small in the number of attendees, so we can facilitate a more focused and deeply supportive magickal experience.

The monthly Rituals at AwenTree are facilitated by Winifred and Anthony. Participants are invited to actively participate in co-creating deep and sacred work inside a safe, ritual space held within a magickal circle of protection.

Cost $15  This helps cover the cost of the resources it takes to prepare, create and hold sacred space. You can sign up ahead of time by CLICKING HERE or pay at the door. Please arrive by 7:15 pm.

Each month features a uniquely crafted ritual, centered on a different magickal intention and focus. While not anchored in any one specific Craft Tradition, there still will be a grounding, protective, structure of a Witch’s Circle to safeguard our mutual energies. All expressions of being human and all levels of experience are welcome.

These sacred ceremonies are for like-minded mystical folk who desire to come together (in-person) in facilitated, safe space to explore and embody their magick. Co-facilitated by Winifred Costello, founder of AwenTree, and Anthony Gladu.

About Winifred Costello:

Winifred has over 30 years experience, training and practice in Paganism, Witchcraft and Folk Magick Traditions. She weaves together her knowledge in the Craft with the spiritual tools of Energy Healing, Reiki and Tarot to help students create empowered transformation in their lives. She is an Intuitive Tarot Reader, Reiki Master Teacher, Certified Hypnotherapist and Past Life Regression Certified Facilitator. She is the Proprietress of AwenTree and the Founder & Mentor of the Witching Well Community.  Winifred is a forever student and currently enrolled in Year 5 (Ministry Training) in the Temple of Witchcraft Mystery School.

 

 

About Anthony Gladu: 

Artist, Gardener, Herbalist, Magickal Practitioner and Tarot Reader. Anthony has been on his spiritual journey and practicing Witchcraft for many years. He has completed the coursework of Year 3 in the Temple of Witchcraft Mystery School. Anthony is excited to be able to facilitate safe, sacred space for folk to gather together for ritual and a bit of magick.
